Personal Injury – plaintiff

In Delaware, accidental death is the fifth most likely cause of death among all causes, and automobile accidents are the leading cause of accidental death. A person has a 1 in 78 chance of dying in a motor vehicle accident over the course of his or her lifetime. Workers’ Compensation - employee

Workers’ compensation laws were put in place to compensate employees for injuries that occur as a result of employment. Injuries can be from repetitive stress (carpal tunnel), from an accident (falling from a height) and can include injuries that result in death (explosions).  We represent clients, including state and municipal employees, who have suffered temporary or permanent injuries and also represent clients at Industrial Accident Board (IAB) hearings. Criminal Defense – DUI, traffic, misdemeanor, felony

Criminal law is a broad category that includes misdemeanors and felonies. We represent clients in all state courts including traffic court.  The State of Delaware, although small, strictly enforces its traffic laws, so we have had the occasion to represent many out-of-state defendants, including college and university students.

The types of criminal defense cases in which we represent clients are:

Personal injury and workers’ compensation cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means no attorneys fee unless a recovery is made.  Traffic and DUI cases are taken on a flat fee basis and all other cases are taken for a fee that will depend upon the complexity of the case.
